One of the most rewarding experiences in the world to me is seeing a light come on in someone’s eyes after I’ve just shared an insight or given someone advice – when they’ve had an “ah ha” moment, or they’ve finally heard an answer that deep inside confirmed what they had already sensed themselves. They seem to finally feel validated – and that there may be hope for their lives after all.
Of course, I’m a “Blue/Yellow” personality type and that’s what we enjoy doing – helping people feel loved and happy.
So what does that mean? What is a Blue/Yellow personality?
Twenty-eight years ago, I discovered I had the unique ability to intuitively know a person’s life purpose, their most fulfilling life direction, relationship styles, and more. I discovered this knowledge in a very unusual way. Before I go on, let me explain that I am a grounded, intelligent, college graduate and successful business owner. I always knew my life’s path was ultimately to help people and to be a teacher. What I didn’t know was that one day I would be able to see auras – the electro-magnetic energy field that radiates from people.
Yes, these energy fields are real. Physicists and bio-physicists are studying this phenomenon and finding evidence to support their existence. Most people are unaware of all the advancements made in science.
Even if people can’t see the aura, we’ve all felt it. We’ve felt instantly and inexplicably drawn to some people, yet uncomfortable with others – we like or don’t like their energy. You can read more about this and about some of the professionals who study these energy fields here: http://www.auracolors.com/en/science-of-auras.html
Validating the existence of these energy fields is not my primary reason for sharing this information. My goal is to help people discover more about who they truly are and what they can do to live happier lives.
As a personal consultant, I’ve learned the deepest issue that people ultimately struggle with is discovering their life purpose and life direction. So many find themselves stuck in roles and careers that are unfulfilling. They’re lost and confused, feeling they’re just going through the motions.
Each of us has a unique reason for being here and an important role to play in life. We have a particular theme for our life and have specific priorities, things that matter most to us – whether that is to teach love, heal people, transform the planet, create a loving family, have fun and enjoy life, analyze the 3-dimensional world, overcome physical boundaries, or something else.
I’ve realized that important life information – your personality, life purpose, priorities, best career direction, relationship styles and needs – is revealed in your aura colors.
The following are sample life purposes and some of the most fulfilling career directions for the different aura color personalities.
Blues are nurturing, supportive counselors and caretakers. Their life purpose is to give love, to teach love, and to learn about love – especially learning that they themselves are loved. Their priorities are love, relationships, and spirituality. The spiritual Blues live from their hearts and emotions. Actually they are the most emotional people on the planet, crying when they are happy, sad, angry, or sometimes for no reason at all. People always turn to Blues for comfort and counsel because Blues will always be there for them.
Some of the roles a Blue finds fulfilling are teacher, marriage and family counselor, educator, clergy, volunteer, nurse, childcare worker, parent, homemaker, and social worker.
Yellows are fun loving and free-spirited. They are optimistic beings, whose life purpose is to bring joy to people, to have fun, and/or to help people, animals or nature heal. Yellows can either be very shy and sensitive, or the life of the party. These playful characters have a great sense of humor and enjoy making others laugh. They believe life is to be enjoyed. They remind people not to take themselves or their problems too seriously.
Yellows are often artists, musicians, comedians, writers, designers, healers, doctors, massage therapists, veterinarians, athletes, lifeguards, gardeners, chefs, bartenders, and laborers.
Violets are the inspirational visionaries, leaders, and teachers who are here to help save the planet. Violets have an inner sense that they are here to do something important, that their destiny is big. Most Violets feel drawn to educate the masses, to inspire higher ideals, and to improve the quality of life on the planet. Many of these charismatic personalities take on roles as leaders, humanitarians, therapists, ministers, politicians or teachers; others prefer to reach people through music, film, or other art forms. These visionaries also love to travel.
Tans’ life purpose appears to be to analyze, learn, and understand three-dimensional reality and then enjoy living a comfortable, secure and stable life. They are logical, methodical, reliable and responsible. Tans prefer and can be counted on to handle the details of a project. They are the personalities who can patiently take others’ ideas and theories and actually develop the technology, architectural plans, or end products. Tans have the ability to accomplish tasks that frustrate others.
Tans enjoy careers as engineers, architects, bookkeepers, scientists, mathematicians, computer programmers, librarians, court reporters, researchers, and technicians.
Greens are powerful, intelligent, and driven movers and shakers. Their life purpose is to grow and learn intellectually, to experience as much as possible in this lifetime, and to accomplish as much as they can. Greens are drawn to money, power, and business. These quick thinkers are organized and efficient. They write lists and check off items as they are completed. They love to set goals and are determined to achieve them.
Most Greens are found in such positions as corporate executive, business entrepreneur, financial and investment advisor, banker, stockbroker, realtor, salesperson, office manager, agent, producer, fundraiser, and organizer.
Reds’ life purpose is to live in the physical world with gusto, strength, and stamina. They are strong-willed, powerful, down-to-earth, hard-working, and highly physical people. They want to enjoy life with all the basic pleasures it has to offer—food, drink, sex, and other physical gratifications. Reds prefer to take physical action to bring ideas and plans into form.
Reds often become athletes, physical trainers, dancers, models, surgeons, firefighters, bodyguards, police officers, bartenders, truck drivers, and construction workers.
Oranges are thrill-seekers and daredevils. They love the challenge and excitement of physical danger. Oranges’ life purpose is to experience physical existence to its fullest, to reach apparent physical limitations and dare to push past them. What is important to Oranges is challenging life face-to-face, with cunning, skill, and courage. Oranges are often racecar drivers, rescue workers, stunt people, firefighters, police officers or detectives.
Magentas follow the beat of their own drummers. Many people considered them to be bizarre nonconformists. Magentas are innovative and imaginative, and enjoy creating strange, controversial works of art. They love to shock people – for example by acting outrageously while donning wild clothes and purple Mohawk haircuts. They like taking physical substances and stretching them into odd and outrageous forms. A Magenta’s life purpose is to explore the new, to experiment outside the normal, to shock us and keep us from being stuck in an ordinary, humdrum world.
Many Magentas become artists, costume designers, clowns, comedians, set designers, actors, writers, and inventors.
Lavenders see life as a magical world of adventure filled with fantasy, enchantment, dreams, myths, and spiritual beings. Lavenders are not here to make a social statement, change the planet, or rescue others. They are here to stimulate our imagination, to inspire our sense of wonder, and to keep the idea of magic alive in us. It is challenging for these airy beings to live in three-dimensional reality. Lavenders are gentle spirits who just want to be free to explore their imagination and experience other realities. They change their direction as often as clouds.
Many Lavenders are storytellers, dancers, artists, costume designers, writers (especially children’s books), mimes, interior decorators, and set designers.
Crystals are quiet, spiritual souls. Their life purpose is to be a clear and willing channel for healing energy. They need to be still and go deep inside so that a pure and true connection with their spiritual source can be made to enable them to be clear healers. When they do this inner work, they have a sense of inner peace and harmony. Their quiet and sensitive nature can be challenging for them, however. They are often too sensitive to be around groups of people. It can overwhelm and deplete them. Crystals require a lot of time and space alone to meditate, reflect, nurture, and balance themselves.
The quiet yet intelligent Crystals are often librarians, Massage therapists, doctors, dental assistants, nuns, monks, florists, Interior decorators, artists, writers
Indigos are here to usher in a new era, to live as examples of higher awareness, to show us how to live from higher consciousness and higher principles so that we can create peace, love, and harmony in the world. They are the new spirit, the new energy, and the new consciousness on the planet. Indigos are intensely honest, aware, highly intuitive, psychic, independent, fearless, strong willed, and sensitive. Indigos cannot be coerced into doing anything they do not believe in.
Usually, Indigos do not feel driven to save the planet or to be famous. They just want to live their higher ideals in peace, with their creativity, integrity, power, and life energy intact. They are also quick to understand technology. An Indigo is often an artist, animal caretaker, designer, childcare worker, environmentalist, horticulturist, health practitioner, computer programmer, botanist, musician, writer, and teacher.
